Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Feb 21, 1992 
Mrs. Ruth Mae Dumas, 78, of Latrobe died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992, in Loyalhanna
Care Center of Latrobe. She was born Jan. 31, 1914, in Greensburg, a daughter of
the late James S. and Susan Quinn Davis. She was a former owner of Ruthie's
Dresden Shop of Youngstown and a former member of the Missions Players. She was
a member of Sacred Heart Church of Youngstown. In addition to her parents, she
was predeceased by her husband, Louis E., in 1975; three brothers, Eben E.,
George M. and William R. Davis, and two sisters, Dolly Davis and Jean Walthall.
Surviving are two sons, Louis "Pete" Dumas of Austintown, Ohio, and James S.
Dumas of Latrobe; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will
be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in James
P. Gaut Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10
a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown. Interment will follow in St.
Vincent Cemetery, Unity Township.
