Latrobe Bulletin Wed, May 17, 1978
Mrs. Sallie V. Eddins, 79, of Bradenville, died in Columbia Hospital,
Wilkinsburg, Tuesday. She was born in Coldwater, Tenn., Nov. 10, 1898, daughter
of the late Thomas and Lula (Hackett) Suggs. She was preceded in death by her
husband, Clyde Eddins, July 1, 1966. She was a member of Bethel AME Church of
Greensburg but had been attending St. Stephen AME, North Jefferson Street,
Latrobe. Surviving are eight children, James T. and Lula Mae, both of
Bradenville, Clyde Jr. of Latrobe R.D. 7, Mrs. William (Eleanor) Sanders of
Greensburg, Mrs. Gaines (Mildred) Williams of Detroit, Mich., William H. of
Crabtree, Mrs. Annie Sanders of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Aaron (Evelyn) Mobley of
Detroit; 21 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Family will receive
friends in Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held in
the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Jack Thomas
officiating.
