Mrs. Mary Emogene (Jean) Ewt, 43, New Florence, died at 8:15 
am, Aug. 17, 1963, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 22, 
1920, in Greensburg, daughter of Frank P. and Bertha A. 
(Gable) Storey. Preceded in death by father. Survived by 
mother, New Florence; husband George, and these children: 
Mrs. Harriet Lichtenfels, New Florence; Carol L., Ada 
Louise, George Allen, and Timothy Jon, all at home; also two 
grandchildren, Belinda Jean and Bridgette Ann. Sister of 
Ruth Cattenbaugh, Ligonier; Mrs. Catherine Yaconi, New 
Florence and Mrs Sarah Howard and Mrs. Edna Rhoades, both of 
New Florence RD 1. Served as registrar of vital statistics 
for New Florence area. Part-owner and operator of Ewt Bros. 
Store, New Florence. Member of New Florence United 
Presbyterian Church and Auxiliary to New Florence American 
Legion. Friends are being received at Kenneth A. Stuart 
Funeral Home where service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, the 
Rev. William Green. Interment, Fairfield Presbyterian 
Cemetery.
