Fink, died at his father's home, in Livermore, September 28, aged 35 years, 10 months and 5 days. His death was a sad one, being the result of an accident which occurred in May. The deceased was sitting in his carriage, when a span of horses behind him became frightened and unmanageable, and ran into his vehicle, injuring his spine so seriously as to paralyze his body. He has been confined to his bed since that time. The most distinguished physicians examined his case and everything possible to be done for his restoration and comfort was done by kind and loving hands; but his injury was too serious for recovery. We said his death was sad, but it was only from a worldly stand-point. He had a pleasant, genial disposition that won him friends wherever he went. He leaves a tender wife and one child, his affectionate parents, and loving brothers and sisters, who have the tender sympathy of the entire community...The body was brought to this place on the noon train on Monday, and interred in Greenwood cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by the A. Y. M. of which he was a member in good standing.
