Latrobe Advance  Wed, Jan 16, 1889
On Friday evening at 5 o'clock, that relentless destroyer, consumption, removed
from our midst, one of our most esteemed fellow citizens, Jno. A. Flohr,at the
age of 37 years...He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. The
funeral services took place on Sunday at 2:30 pm, the interment being in
Mechesneytown...
