Eugene E. Flowers, 72, of 118 Clinton St., Loyalhanna, died Sunday, Nov. 13,
1988, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born July 31, 1916, in Duquesne, a son of
the late Maurice and Josephine Prohaska Flowers. He was a veteran of World War
II, having served with the U.S. Army, and was a member of the American Legion
Post 515 of Latrobe. Surviving are his wife, Helen Miller Flowers; one daughter,
Mrs. Richard (Faith) O'Neal of Greensburg, and four grandchildren. Friends will
be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home
Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday
with the Rev. Dr. Dale Porterfield officiating. Interment will follow in Unity
Cemetery, Unity Township. American Legion Post 515 will hold a military service
at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
