Mrs. Nellie I. Tomlinson Forsha, 82, of Ligonier RD 2, died Tuesday, April 1,
1986, in Latrobe Area Hospital. Born June 2, 1903, in Ligonier Township, she was
a daughter of the late George W. and Clara Wedge Scott. She was a member of St.
John United Church of Christ in Darlington, the Darlington Volunteer Fire Co.'s
Ladies Auxiliary and the Swissvale Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Walter Tomlinson, in 1942,
and Chalmers Forsha, in 1970; one son, George W. Tomlinson, and several brothers
and sisters. She is survived by one son, Fred E. Tomlinson Sr. of Ligonier RD 2;
seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-
grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in
Wolford-McCracken Funeral Home Inc., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier. Service will be
held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dennis
Gerrard and the Rev. Dr. Howard Thime officiating. Interment will follow in
Ligonier Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of
Christ, Ligonier RD 2 (Darlington).
