He was born January 2nd, 1879, a son of the late William Jefferson and Mary Randilla (Guss) Forsha. His birthplace was the Ford farm, which is now the C. S. Gehard farm. Mr. Forsha had been a farmer all his life, residing on his present farm for over forty years. His wife, Viola (Henderson) Forsha, preceded him in death about 23 years ago. He is survived by two sons, Clair and Glen, at home; also five daughters, Mrs. Leona Wilford, of Derry, R.D., Mrs. Clara Locke, Mrs. Garnet Comer and Mrs. Minnie Kelly, all of Derry, and Hazel Forsha, and eight grandchildren. He also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Carrie McChesney, Blairsville, R. D., Addison G. Forsha, of Pine Flats, Ralph Forsha, Sr., and Mrs. Bessie Bergman, of Blairsville and Mrs. Daisy Libengood, of Alliance, Ohio. Funeral services in his memory will be held this (Friday) afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from his late residence, with the Rev. Ralph E. Spangler of the Methodist Church of Derry, officiating. Interment will follow in Coles Cemetery at Derry, Pa.
