(Peck) Forsha, 62, of 736 East First Ave., Derry, died unexpectedly Saturday. He was born Nov. 8, 1915, in Blairsville, a son of the late Addison and Madge Baker Forsha. He was a member of Derry United Methodist Church, a veteran of World War II and a member of Chestnut Ridge VFW Post 444 and Blairsville Moose Lodge 187. He retired from Torrance State Hospital Aug. 5, 1977, after 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Edward and Vernon. He is survived by his widow, Hulda Duncan Forsha; one son, Joseph D. of Portsmith, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Ace (Sandra) Miller, Mrs. Michael (Catherine) Spence and Deborah, all of Dearborn, Mich., four brothers, Melvin of Florida, William R. Waugaman of Greensburg, Paul W. of Blairsville, and Phillip A. of Philadelphia; two sisters, Mary V. McIntosh and Sue M. Uss, both of Blairsville; four grandchildren; one niece; two nephews, and three stepchildren, Mrs. Edward (Linda) Schrum of Pittsburgh, Thomas D. Walkinshaw of Greensburg and Andrew J. Walkinshaw of Manor. Friends will be received in John D. McCabe Funeral Home, 310 South Chestnut St., Derry, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating. Interment will follow in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
