Charles H. Forsha, 84, of Latrobe died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, in Excela Health
Latrobe Hospital. He was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Black Lick, the son of the late
Harry Forsha and Mary Ragan Swauger. Charles was a member of Latrobe United
Methodist Church. He was retired from Teledyne Vasco with 43 years of service.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ivan Swauger,
and five sisters, Iva Reed, Verna Dickson, Edna Gamble, Alice Martin and Eva
Bodo. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marjorie Launtz Forsha of
Latrobe; two daughters, Charlene Moonis and husband, Edward, of Latrobe and
Linda Bosco of Latrobe; his son, Jeffrey Forsha and wife, Debra, of Latrobe; a
sister, Anna Mae Roddy of Latrobe; two grandchildren, Joseph Bosco and wife,
Stephanie, and Lori Ostroski and husband, Edward; three great-grandchildren,
Grace, Owen and John, and a number of nieces and nephews. Family and friends
will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in John J. Lopatich Funeral
Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday
in Latrobe United Methodist Church with the Rev. Aimee W. Twigg officiating.
Interment will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
