Forsha, a retired P.R.R.section foreman, passed away quietly, in his sleep. While he had not been in the best of health for some time, he was up and around every day, including yesterday. A heart affliction, coupled with infirmities of age, caused his demise. He was born near Millwood, on June 14, 1865, a son of Solomon Forsha and Rebecca Cusic. On April 4, 1939, he was married to his present wife, the former Jennie Byers. Mr. Forsha entered the service of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, in the Maintenance of Way Department, on April 10, 1882. He served for many years as section foreman, until his retirement on October 1, 1930, under the Pension Rules of the company. Surviving are his widow, and the following children - Chalmers R. Forsha, of Ligonier; Mrs. Bertha Richardson, and Lawrence E. Forsha, of Derry; Mrs. Lulu Singer, of Latrobe, and Mrs. Effie Wadsworth, of Johnstown. Thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, also survive. He was a member of the W.O.W., and of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran church, in Derry. Funeral services will be announced later.
