Forsha, 90, Latrobe, died Thursday, June 29, 2000, at her home. Born May 19, 1910, in Latrobe, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Hughes Marks. She was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Latrobe, and was past financial secretary for over 30 years. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Forsha, Sr.; two sons, Ronald W. Forsha Sr., and Walter E. Forsha Jr; a daughter Betty June Buncie; a grandson, Walter E. Forsha III, and a granddaughter, Brenda Verneau. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy J. Verneau (and her husband, Wilford) Harlem, Georgia; a son-in-law, Donald Buncie, Jeanette; two daughters-in-law, Dolores J. Forsha, Ligonier and Cheryl L Forsha, Dawson; a sister, Nina King, Latrobe; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm Saturday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. Service will be held 11 am Monday in Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. William E. Ordelt officiating. Interment will be in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
