Forsha Sr., 62, Latrobe RD 5, Edgewater Terrace, died in Latrobe Area Hospital early Wednesday morning. He was born in Derry, Pa., April 27, 1909, a son of Mrs. Ethyl Frye Forsha and the late Chalmers R. Forsha. He was employed as a boring mill operator at Latrobe Forge and Spring. He was a charter member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, was secretary of the Latrobe Forge and Spring Credit Union and was former president of the United Steel Workers Local 1551 and was active in various phases of union work. In addition to his mother of Pittsburgh surviving are his widow, Mrs. Estella Marks Forsha and the following children: Mrs. Donald (June) Buncie, Latrobe RD 4; Walter E. Jr., Latrobe RD 3; Ronald W., Latrobe RD 1; Mrs. Wilfred (Nancy) Verneau, Germany. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Robert (Eleanor)Dell, Pittsburgh and Mrs. William (Jane) Cross, Pittsburgh. The family will receive friends at the Richard W. Dell Home for Funerals, Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Lawson Heights at 10:30 am Friday, the Rev. John P. Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
