Varieties and Local Notes.

Mary Jane, wife of Hon. Henry D. Foster, of Greensburg, 
Westmoreland county, died on Wednesday last.  She, a 
daughter of Hon. John Young, was a lady possessed of many 
accomplishments and all virtues, not the least of which was 
patience and resignation under her sufferings, which had 
been continued through an illness of several years 
concluding only with her death.
