Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Nov 19, 1968 
Lawrence W. Fowler, 62, of 133 Tacoma Ave., Latrobe, died at Latrobe Hospital at
2 p.m. Monday. Born in Unity Township Aug. 12, 1906, he was employed as a
teacher by the Unity Township School System for 43 years prior to accepting a
position with the Latrobe School System. He is survived by his widow, Mrs.
Lillian Roble Fowler, and six children: Lawrence E. of Washington, D. C.; Robert
J. of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Walter (Helen) Obstraczyk of Latrobe; Mrs.
William (Dorothy) White of Washington, D. C.; and Mrs. Donald (Jean) Thomas and
Mrs. Wallace (Margaret) Dilbert, both of Latrobe. Also surviving are 24
grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: John, Harry, James, and
Merle, all of Latrobe, and Mrs. Harry (Mable) Shawler of Greensburg.
