Latrobe Advance Wed, Nov 10, 1886 
On last Friday at her home near Ligonier, at the early age of 22, Sadie Freeman,
answered the summons which none can disobey and surrounded by her friends and
relatives, sank into the sleep which knows no waking. Miss Freeman was one of
the popular young ladies of the valley and beloved by all who knew her. She was
a graduate of the Indiana Normal School this summer and having been a close,
conscientious student, she overtaxed her strength and was brought home with
typhoid fever from which she never fully recovered. To her hosts of friends her
death will be a sad blow. She had a pleasant smile and a kind word for all.
