Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Sep 25, 1982 
Edward J. Friedline, 83, of Latrobe R D 1, died Sept. 24, 1982, in Latrobe Area
Hospital. Born Oct. 8, 1898, in Youngstown, he was a son of the late Harry and
Cora Mae Karns Friedline. He was a retired coal miner. Preceding him in death
were three sisters. He is survived by his widow, Mary Nave Dauer Friedline; six
children, Mrs. Clark (Mary Lou) Williams of Hurricane, W. Va., James E. of
Latrobe RD 4, Mrs. Albert (Ellen Mae) Overly and Robert, both of Latrobe, Mrs.
Donald (lona) Eachus of Indian Head and Jay of Masury, Ohio; two stepsons, Fred
Dauer of Latrobe RD 1, and John Miller of Pitcairn; one brother, Harry of
Pleasant Unity; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Theda) Hausele of Latrobe RD 5; 26
grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant
Unity. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with
the Rev. Donald J. McCoid officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke Reform
Cemetery, Pleasant Unity.
