Latrobe Bulletin Mon, Apr 06, 1959
Mrs. Elizabeth T. Frye, 71, Latrobe St., Youngstown, died suddenly at 5:55 p.m.
Saturday in the Latrobe Hospital. Born at Solomon's Temple, Nov. 20, 1887, she
was a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Marks) Harr. Her entire life-time
had been lived in this vicinity. She was a member of the Christ Evangelical and
Reformed Church of Latrobe. Her husband, Trauger J. Frye, preceded her in death
in July, 1942. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. John (Marie) Ruehl,
Pittsburgh; Russell T., Honolulu, Hawaii; Mrs. Fred (Leona) Knapfel, Latrobe R.
D. 4; Leonard P., Pittsburgh; Mrs. Melvin (Marion) Uncapher, Painesville. O.;
Mrs. Reed (Rosella) McCrea, Pittsburgh; Duane O., Youngstown, Pa.; four
stepdaughters, Mrs. Clark (Nan) Chestnut, Franklin, O.; Mrs. Sam (Martha) Young,
Indiana, Pa.: Mrs. Grace Laughner, Graceton; Mrs. John (Belle) Seinset,
Mechesneytown; 19 grandchildren; two brothers, Russell Harr, Baggaley; Emory
Harr, Chicago, Ill.: three sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Ophie) Shirey, Latrobe R. D.
4; Mrs. Arthur (Phoebe) Johnson, Darlington; Mrs. Edward (Marie) Johnson,
Darlington. Friends may call at the R. W. Dell Home for Funerals from 10 a.m.
until 10 p.m. daily. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10
p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday when funeral services will be conducted in the
Christ United Church of Christ at 2 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Reynold K.
Ziegler, in charge of services. Interment will follow in the St. lames Lutheran
Cemetery, Youngstown.
