Gibson, aged 36 years, of Brinker Avenue, died suddenly at 7:45 o'clock last evening while visiting at the neighboring home of his father-in-law, John Eisaman. Mr. Gibson was seated in a chair when he was stricken with a heart attack that resulted in his death within a short time. He had suffered from a heart affliction recently and just the previous day had been to Fairfield township to make arrangements for securing a cottage where he could go this summer to recuperate. He was raised in Latrobe and was graduated from Latrobe High school with the class of 1917. For a number of years he was employed by Hermann and Gass, local contractors. Recently he had been employed as a foreman on the Federal-aid Fifth Ward sewer project, which was to have been completed today. Work on the project has been temporarily suspended out of respect to Mr. Gibson. Mr. Gibson's father, the late James Gibson, died some time ago. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Wallace Gibson: his widow, Mrs. Olive Eiseman Gibson; one son, lames Jr., a sister, Mabel and a brother Clarence. Another brother. Ernest, died three years ago. Funeral services will be held at his late home, at 2 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, in charge of the Rev. Rufus W. Hofelt, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be made in Unity cemetery.
