Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 5 Aug 1957
Mrs. Daisy Marks Gibson, 54, R. D. 4, Latrobe, near Baggaley, died today at 4 a.m in
the Latrobe Hospital. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Youngstown, the
Women of the Moose, Latrobe, and the VFW Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband Robert
B. Gibson; two children, Mrs. Raymond Frye, Austin, Tex; Robert Gibson Jr., at home;
her mother, Mrs. Mary Hughes Marks, RD 4; two brothers and two sisters, George
Marks, John Oliver Marks, Mrs. Walter Forsha, all of RD 1, Latrobe; Mrs. William
King, RD 4; one grandchild. Friends are being received at the James P Gaut Funeral
Home, Pleasant Unity, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m daily, until services which will
be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Bruce R.
Shaffer, D. D., officiating. The body will lie in state from 1 p. m. Burial will be
made in the church cemetery. (Obit:8/5/1957)
