Latrobe Bulletin  Wed, Oct 12, 1977 
Frederick (Fred) E. Goodman, 64, of Latrobe R.D. 6 (Baggaley) died Monday
evening in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Nov. 5, 1912, in Unity Twp., a son
of the late Fred A. and Anna Zeltner Goodman. He was a member of St. James
Lutheran Church, Youngstown, and United Ostomy Association. He is survived by
his widow, Madalene Heintzelman Goodman; two sons, William D. of Riverview,
Fla., and Thomas E. of Austinburg, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Cecile) Carns
of Latrobe R.D. 4 and Mrs. Louis (Wilma) Carns of Latrobe R.D. 6, and five
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Frederick Robert, in 1937
and two brothers, Harry C. and Vernon W. Friends will be received in James P.
Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to
9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. James
Lutheran Church, Youngstown, with the Rev. Robert C. Schlotter officiating.
Interment will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
