Wayne L. Goughneour, 60, of Latrobe, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2007. He was
born Dec. 28, 1946, in Greensburg, a son of the late Louis F. and Henrietta
"Pete" (Sachs) Goughneour. He was a United States Navy veteran and loved the
outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his entire family, especially his
grandchildren, who were Pap's best buddies. He was anticipating the June birth
of a new grandson, Baby Boy Goughneour. Wayne is survived by his wife, Sandy
(Goodman) Goughneour; a daughter, Wendy Norman and her husband, Joe; a son, Eric
Goughneour and his wife, Cheryl; three grandchildren, Eli, Olivia and Quinn
Norman, all of Latrobe; two brothers, Wade Goughneour and his wife, Cheryl, of
Greensburg, and Ward Goughneour and his wife, Cindy, of Hunker; and a number of
nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received from 2 until 9
p.m. Tuesday in the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St.,
Latrobe. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. David P. von Schlichten officiating. Interment will follow
in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
may be made to Action for Animals, Route 217, Latrobe, PA 15650, or to the
Westmoreland County Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626.
