  MRS. CLARENCE M. GOWER
  
  Mrs. Elva M. Gower, 62, of Luxor, died in Westmoreland Hospital Sunday at 8 
  p.m.  Born in Derry Township Oct. 14, 1900, she was a daughter of the late 
  Thomas and Anna Williard Hainan.
  
  She is survived by her husband Clarence M. Gower, and six sons:  Thomas C and 
  Paul W., both of Greensburg; Harry L. and Robert R., both of Luxor; Wayne L. 
  of San Diego, Calif., and Francis at home.  Also surviving are 10 
  grandchildren, four brothers, Floyd Hainan, Ralph Hainan and Clarence Hainan, 
  all of New Alexandria RD 2 and Harry Hainan of Derry; and a sister, Mrs. 
  Arthur Ray of Derry.
  
  Friends will be received at the M. Wallce Felton Funderal Home, New 
  Alexandria, where services will he held Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John C. 
  McAdoo officiating.  Interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
