Mary M. Metil Graham St. Xavier Alumna, Active Parishioner, Traveler 
Mary M. Metil Graham, 83, of Unity Township died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at UPMC
East, Monroeville. She was born Dec. 24, 1932, in Marguerite, a daughter of the
late John and Anna (Chockota) Metil. Mary was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy
and worked at Latrobe Construction, where she met her husband. After raising her
family she worked in direct sales with Stanley Home Products, and House of
Lloyd/Christmas Around the World through which she earned trips to travel the
globe. She was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish, Sacred Heart Church, and
a lifetime participant at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite, active with
the Rosary Altar societies and church festivals. Mary was a member of the
American Legion Auxiliary Thomas B. Anderson Unit 515, serving as poppy chairman
for years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son,
Charles Dale Graham Jr., and was the last surviving member of her family,
following four brothers: Michael, John, Dr. George and Joseph Metil, and her
sister: Anne Como. Mary is survived by her husband, Charles Dale Graham Sr.;
four daughters: Charlotte, Kathleen and Amy Graham and Barbara Graham Bosco; two
sons: David and George Graham; three granddaughters: Marine Corps Capt. Lauren
Bosco, Rachel Bosco Uschock and husband Joshua and Amanda Wolf, and a number of
nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in
Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Prayers will
begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass to be
celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite. Interment
will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
