Mrs. Margaret Haines, 91, Latrobe R. D. 3, near Pleasant Unity, died today at 6
a. m. at the home of her son, Clarence W., Somerset R. D. 2. She was born June
15, 1865 in Hempfield Township. She is survived by her husband, Silas R. Haines.
They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary Dec. 19. In addition to her
husband, these children survive: William S., Latrobe R D. 3; Mrs. Laura Truxal,
Greensburg; Robert P., Latrobe R. D. 1; Charles H.. Uniontown; Edgar T.,
Greensburg R. D. 6; Clarence W., Somerset R. D. 2; Ralph L., Latrobe R. D. 3;
Mrs. Roselle Noakes, Somerset R. D. 6; Mrs. Ruth Weatherton, Greensburg R. D. 5.
Another daughter, Sarah, died 21 years ago. Nineteen grandchildren and 25 great-
grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the James P. Gaut
Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity, from 3 to 3 and 7 to lb p. m. daily, until Tuesday
when services will be held at 2 p. m. with the Rev. E. Stewart Proper
officiating assisted by the Rev. Fred L. Hartzfelt. Interment will be in
Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
