Latrobe Advance Wed, May 12, 1886
On Thursday afternoon L. H. Harbaugh, of this place, died in the Government
Hospital at Washington, D. C., of paralysis. Undertaker Hartman left here on
Friday evening and returned with the body on Sunday morning, being met by the G.
A. R. Post of this place, of which Mr. Harbaugh was a member. The interment took
place at Unity on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. He was born on the 20th of
November 1843, and was over 42 years of age at the time of his death. He served
during the war in Co. D, 53 Regt., Pa. Vol., and was a member of the K. of H. of
this place and a Mason.
