Paul David Harr, 51, of Carleton, Mich., died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at home of
a massive heart attack. He was born March 3, 1948, in Latrobe, a son of Martha
Neighly Harr and the late William J. Harr. Paul was a graduate of Latrobe High
School and received his bachelor of arts degree from Virginia Polytechnical
Institute and his master of arts degree from Michigan State University. He was a
member of Christ United Church of Christ, Latrobe. He was employed as a teacher
in the Mason School District. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his
wife, Diane Best Han; daughters, Violet (wife of Timothy) Conklin and Crystal
Harr, both of Carleton; sister, Sandra (wife of Wilson) Gorell of Forest Hill,
Md.; brother, William J. of Leo, Ind., and a number of nieces and nephews.
