Latrobe Bulletin Tue, May 05, 1981 
Mrs. Ruth Aukerman Harr, 83, of Latrobe RD 1, died Monday in Latrobe Area
Hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1897, in Unity Township, a daughter of the late
David L. and Amelia lmmel Aukerman. She was a member of Lycippus United
Methodist Church. She was predeceased by one daughter, Wilma Whitmire. Surviving
are her husband, Hobart M. Harr; one daughter, Mrs. William (Mildred) Frantz of
Greensburg RD 8; two sons, Charles H. and David E., both of Latrobe RD 1; nine
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Ira and John Aukerman, both
of Latrobe, and two sisters, Florence Aukerman and Esther Snyder, both of
Latrobe. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and
Wednesday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity. Services will be held
at 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Revs. Keith L. Rieder and Alvin
K. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Lycippus Cemetery.
