Robert M. Harr, 49, of Latrobe died Thursday, July 30, 1998, in Latrobe Area
Hospital. He was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Latrobe, a son of Robert G. and Helen M.
(Kirik) Harr of Latrobe. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Youngstown,
where he served as Eucharistic minister. He was the owner and operator of Robert
M.'s on Hillview Avenue near Latrobe. He was a 1970 graduate of St. Vincent
College and attended graduate school at Duquesne University. He was a member of
FOE Tony Angelo Aerie 01188, Latrobe, and BPO Elks Lodge 907 of Latrobe. In
addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Frances M. "Cindy" Palia
Harr; three sons, Jarod B. (and his wife, Diana) of New Alexandria, Michael V.
(and his wife, Monica J.) of Plainville, Conn., and Patrick A. at home, and his
grandson, Alexander M. Harr. Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and
3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday n John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon
St., Latrobe. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart
Church by the Rev. Aelred Beck, OSB. Interment was in St. Vincent Cemetery,
Unity Township. A parish rosary was recited at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral
home.
