Harry A. Harr, 83, of Greensburg RD 7 died Wednesday in Westmoreland Hospital,
Greensburg. He was born April 7, 1895, in Unity Township, a son of the late John
and Emma Kuhns Harr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Roth Harr, in
1973; one son, George Robert, in 1963, and one grand-daughter, Sharon Harr
Topper, in 1976. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Greensburg.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene of Phoenix, Ariz., and Harry W., of
Greensburg RD 7; three daughters, Mrs. Chester (Thelma) Leone of Greensburg RD
7, Mrs. Homer (Virginia) Nicholson of Norvelt and Mrs. Alex (Gwendolyn) Lysyk of
Greensburg; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, John of
Conneaut, Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. Karl (Edna) Lockhart of Penn Hills. Friends
will be received in James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2
p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph B. Hennessey DD,
officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
