Harr, 58, of 101 East Madison St., Latrobe, died Tuesday morning in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in Latrobe June 2, 1920, a son of the late Harry R. Harr and Zelda Stump Harr. A member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, he was employed by Standard Steel, formerly Latrobe Forge & Spring. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 515 and Kingston Vets & Sportsmen Club. He is survived by his widow, Thelma R. Gibson Harr; one daughter and two sons, Mrs. William (Connie) Pletcher of Latrobe RD 6, Harry Ronald Harr and Frederick (Ted) Harr, both of Latrobe; nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. John L. Reiner, DD., and the Rev. David Ernest officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.
