Latrobe Bulletin Wed Dec 27, 1978
Floyd P. Harris, 84, of 226 Loyalhanna St., Ligonier, died Tuesday in Latrobe
Area Hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1894, in Hambton, W. Va., son of the late
Harry and Florida Goff Harris. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist
Church in Ligonier and a retired lumberman. He was preceded in death by a
daughter, Helen Mineor. He is survived by his widow, Lucille Harris; one
daughter, Mona McKee; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Family
will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Owen Wolford
Funeral Home, Ligonier, where services will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m.
Thursday with the Rev. Steven Rich officiating. Private interment will follow in
Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
