Mr. Hauser, who was 92 years old on the first of June, had retired apparently in his usual good health about 9 o'clock last evening. At nine o'clock this morning inmates of the household discovered that he had died during the night. The deceased had been enjoying good health for the past 25 years and his death came as a shock to the members of the family and his friends. Mr. Hauser came to this country from Austria in 1881 and settled in Dawson. In 1892 he came to Latrobe where he had resided ever since. For the past 16 years he had made his home with his son on the North Side. Mr. Hauser is survived by two sons, Joseph of Latrobe and John of Uniontown; one daughter, Mrs. Peter Lechner, of Latrobe also mourns his death. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Vincent's church. Interment will be made in St. Vincent's cemetery.
