Hauser Retired Self-Employed Carpenter Albert R. Hauser, 93, of Youngstown died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at Edgewood Nursing Center, Unity Township. He was born April 28, 1910 in Unity Township, a son of the late John G. and Elsie (Roadman) Hauser. Prior to retirement, he was a self-employed carpenter and was always there to give a helping hand to his family with their remodeling ventures. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church of Youngstown and loved to go fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie K. Marks Hauser, in 1980 and five brothers, Harry F., Jacob C., Lawrence D., Charles and Arthur D. Hauser. Albert is survived by his son, Bruce M. Hauser and his wife, Sandra, of Latrobe RD 1; three grandchildren, Kimberly Weaver and husband. Jim, of West Newton, Mark Hauser and wife, Nancy, of Blairsville and Scott Hauser and fiancee Karen, of Latrobe; four great-grandchildren, Samantha and Nathan Weaver and Timothy and Caitlin Hauser and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Gaut-Bacha Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. David P. von Schlichten officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
