Latrobe Bulletin, July 15, 1943
Mrs. Elizabeth A. Hazlett died in the Franklin General Hospital, in Franklin.
Pa., on July 12, at 11:35 p. m. She was born in Derry Township, the daughter of
the late Joseph Berkley and Nancy Henry Berkley. She is survived by her husband,
George W. Hazlett, of Franklin, and one adopted son, Robert Berkley, with the U.
S. Army at the present time. Two sisters, Miss Kate Berkley, of Blairsville, and
Mrs. Santhimer, of Bairdstown and two brothers, Thomas and William, both of
Bairdstown, also survive. She was a member of the SS Simon and Jude church, in
Blairsville. and has been a resident of Franklin, PA., for the past 15 years.
Friends will be received at the Hunter Funeral Home, in Blairsville. until 5:30
o'clock Friday morning. A Requiem High Mass will be held at SS Simon and Jude
church at 9 o'clock on Friday morning, with the Rev. F. J. Muller officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
