Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Aug 12, 1989
Jeter R. Heintzelman, 84, of Laurel Highlands Lodge, Donegal, (formerly of
Latrobe) died Friday, Aug. 11, 1989, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Jan.
15, 1905, in Baggaley, a son of the late William and Merb Katura Bitner
Heintzelman. Prior to his retirement, he was a diesel mechanic with Latrobe
Construction Co., having 28 years of service. He was a member of the Church of
Christ of Greensburg, the F&AM Loyalhanna Lodge 275 of Latrobe and the Junior
Order United American Mechanics. He also was predeceased by nine brothers and
sisters. Surviving are his wife, Margaret E. Miller Heintzelman; a daughter,
Mrs. Joseph (Lois Jean) Luko of Latrobe; four grandchildren; five great-
grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from
7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Hartman-Graziano
Funeral Home, Latrobe, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the
chapel with Larry Atkin officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery,
Unity Township. The F&AM Loyalhanna Lodge 275 of Latrobe will hold a service at
7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
