Joshua Charles Henderson, 89, of 226 Ligonier Street, New Florence died Tuesday,
March 12, 1974. Mr. Henderson was born January 21, 1885, in West Wheatfield
Township, a son of the late Armstrong and Matilda (Livengood) Henderson. He was
a retired farmer, a member of the New Florence United Methodist Church and was
on the board of directors of the Germany Lutheran Cemetery. Preceded in death by
his wife, the former Margaret Lichtenfels on February 11, 1974, he is survived
by a son, Lloyd Henderson of RD 1, New Florence and two grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. Also a brother James Henderson of La Canada, Calif. and a
sister, Mrs. Clara Hostetler of Jeannette. Funeral services were held Saturday
at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence, the Rev. Harold Himes in
charge. Interment was in Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
