He was 70. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Bolivar United Presbyterian Church, of which he was an elder, with Rev. James O. Leitch officiating. The American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars conducted a military service at graveside in Blairsville Cemetery. Kenneth A. Stuart handled the funeral arrangements. Mr. Henderson was born Aug. 19, 1895, in West Wheatfield Township, son of Armstrong & Matilda Libengood Henderson. He was a veteran of World War 1 and started the Bolivar store on his return from military service in 1919. He is survived by his widow (the former Lydia McClellan), a son (Donald O. of Bolivar), two daughters (Mrs. Gladys Super of Beaver Falls and Mrs. Mildred Jarrell of Richmond, Ind.), three brothers (Harry and Charles of RD 2, New Florence, and James of California), two sisters (Mrs. Rebecca Fisher of RD 1, New Florence, and Mrs. Clara Hostetler of Harrison City), nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Another son (Edwin R.) died in Korea in 1951.
