Newspaper Clipping - December 1959
Dr. Warren E. Hickman, of Irwin, died suddenly at noon 
Thursday, 17 Dec 1959,  of a heart attack, He had been a 
chiropractor in Irwin for ten years. His office was on Third 
Street. Dr. Hickman graduated from Ohio Northern University 
School of Pharmacy in 1905 and from Universal Chiropractic 
College, Davenport, Iowa, in 1915. Before practicing in 
Irwin, he taught anatomy 30 years at Universal Chiropractic 
College in Pittsburg. Dr. Hickman was a member of Salem 
United Church of Christ (Brush Creek). Surviving are his 
wife Lettie Rodebaugh Hickman, a brother Charles, of 
Ashland, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. J. S. Hughes of Manhattan, 
Kansas. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 
beginning tonight at Rogers Funeral Home, Irwin. The body 
will lie in state at Salem United Church of Christ, Brush 
Creek, from 1 to 2 Sunday. Services will be held be Rev. G. 
A. Teske. Burial will be in Brush Creek Memorial Cemetery.
