Latrobe Bulletin Tue, May 24, 1983
Mrs. Alberta Kuhns Holzer, 69, of Youngstown, died Sunday, May 22, 1983, in
Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Born April 8, 1914, in Unity Township, she
was the daughter of the late Jacob and Margaret Achhammer Kuhns. She was a
member of the Church of God, Youngstown. Surviving are her husband, Samuel R
Holzer; one son, Joseph J. Costa of Indiana; one daughter; Mrs. Charles (Grace)
Shearer of Export, one sister, Blanche Hoyle of Latrobe RD 4, two brothers,
William Kuhns of Pleasant Unity and Robert Kuhns of Latrobe RD 4, and two
grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p m. Monday and 3 to 5 and 7
to 9 p.m. Tuesday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home Inc., Pleasant Unity. Services
will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of God, Youngstown, with her
pastors, the Revs. Raymond D. Tustin and Gerald Downs, officiating. Interment
will follow in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Youngstown.
