Johnstown Tribune Democrat - 15 April 1958
Joseph Richard, 47, New Florence, died April 14, 1958, at 
Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born August 26, 1910, in 
Derry, son of Joseph I. and Laurena (Winebrenner) Houston. 
Survived by widow, the former Edith Marie McCullough, and 
daughter Betty Jane; mother and sisters Sara and Ruth, all 
of New Florence. An electrician at Idewild Park, also a 
radio and television technician. Friends received after 8 pm 
Tuesday in R. S. Wagner Funeral Home, New Florence, where 
service will be held at 2 pm Thursday. Rev. T. R. Bowers, 
pastor of New Florence EUB Church, and Rev. James L. 
Shaffer, pastor of Seward Presbyterian Church. Interment 
Armaugh Cemetery.
