Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 9 Jun 1982
John L. Huffman, 92, of Allegheny township, died June 7, 1982, in Westmoreland
Manor, Hempfield township. He was born April 4, 1890, in Whitney, a son of the late
Jacob G. and Susan Aretta Long Huffman. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of
Holiday Park and a retired employee of Union Spring and Manufacturing Co., New
Kensington. He is survived by one son, A. Wayne Huffman, of Camp JoAnn; one daughter
Mrs. H. Leonard (Dorothy) Beacom, of Allegheny township, eight grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary I. Smith Huffman.
Services will be conducted at 10 am Thursday by the Rev. Dennis Kock. Interment will
follow in Unity Cemetery, near Latrobe.
