Mrs. Ruth Fullerton Hughes, 39, wife of Samuel J. Hughes Jr., 13 Manor Lane,
North Yardley, near Philadelphia, died in her home Friday morning after a brief
illness. She was born in Trauger, Sept. 1, 1915, a daughter of James and
Catherine Sweeney Fullerton, and was a member of the Lutheran Church in Trenton.
N. J. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a sister and
four brothers: Mrs. Henry Somers, Greensburg R. D. 5; James W., Beaver; Paul E.,
Harrisburg; George M.. Turtle Creek, and William S., Lima, O. Friends will be
received at the James P. Gaut Funeral Home in Pleasant Unity on Sunday and '
Monday between 3 and 5 and 7 and 10 p. m. Funeral services will be conducted in
St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Trauger, at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday by Rev. Myron E.
Cole. The body will lie in state in the church from 1:30 until the time of the
service. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
