Mrs. Edna E. Hughes, 88, of Derry died Friday, Sept. 1, 1995, in Latrobe Area
Hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1907, in Derry, a daughter of the late Boyd and
Elizabeth Lynn Peoples. She was a member of Derry Presbyterian Church and the
Order of Eastern Star. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, John H. Hughes, and four sisters: Theresa Wolfe, Georgia Ziegler, Hazel
Pershing and Mary Sauers. She is survived by a nephew, William P. George of
Derry; a niece, Mary C. Brown of Penn Hills, and several grandnieces and
grandnephews. Funeral service and interment in Coles Cemetery, Derry Township,
will be private. McCabe Funeral Home, Derry, is in charge of funeral
arrangements.
