He had been ill for some time. Mr. Hugus was a son of the late George H. and Sarah M. Kenney Hugus and was born near Delmont on July 24, 1880. He graduated from the Greensburg High School in 1898 and from the Dickinson Law School in 1901. He studied law with his father and was admitted to the Westmoreland county bar in 1901. He was also admitted to practice before the Allegheny county bar and was a member of the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and the courts of the United States. Mr. Hugus was a director of the Barclay-Westmoreland Trust Company, was a member and past master of the F. and A. M. 225, of Greensburg, Williamsport Consistory and the Veterans Patrol of the Shrine. He was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed church. Friends will be received at the Coshey Funeral Home, Greensburg, from 2 to 5 pm and from 7 to 9 pm daily. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, in charge of his former pastor, the Rev. Charles P. Zweizig. Interment will be made in the St. Clair cemetery.
