Michael (Mike) Janesko, 63, of 248 Quarry St. Ext., Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday
in H. C. Frick Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born in Central Pa.,
Sept. 3, 1913, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Janesko. A retired employe
of Walworth Co., Greensburg, he was a member of the Visitation Roman Catholic
Church, the Holy Name Society, Visitation bowling team and the Slovak Club of
Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Verna Sosko Janesko; two sons,
Raymond of Mt. Pleasant and Richard of Greensburg; one brother, Pete Janesko of
Glenshaw; eight sisters, Mrs. Anna Kish of Campbell, Ohio, Mrs. Agnes McClain of
Scottdale, Mrs. Mary Pugliese of Sharpsburg, Mrs. Elizabeth Winiarski, Margaret
Ovitsky and Mrs. Veronica Queer, all of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Hellen Kelly of
Latrobe, and Mrs. Pauline Schultheis of Beaverton Ore., and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received in Michael P. Galone Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, from 2
to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Monday. Prayer services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday
in funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Visitation Roman
Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. John A. Stofcik officiating.
Interment will follow in Visitation Cemetery. Christian Mothers of Visitation
Roman Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society will hold a rosary recital at 7
p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
