Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 16 Feb 1999
Anthony A. Kabala, Sr., 79, of Latrobe RD 4, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, in Latrobe
Area Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1920, in Baggaley, he was a son of the late Andrew
Kabala and Catherine Mazon Kabala Wechuck. A member of Latrobe Christian Church, he
was retired from Standard Steel with 40 years of service, and was a member of its
retirees club. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army, and a
member of Thomas B. Anderson American Legion Post 515 and FOE Aerle 01188, both of
Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Chad A., Feb. 6th,
1999; a brother, Stanley Kabala and his step-father Leon Wechuck. Interment will be
in Bethel Cemetery, Cook township. Military service will be held 10:30 am Wednesday
in the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Latrobe.
