Clyde V. Kantorik, 65, of Acme R.D. 1, died Sunday in H. C. Frick Community
Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Born Feb. 9, 1912, in Mt. Pleasant Twp., he retired from
farming in 1973. A member of Zion Lutheran Church of Donegal and the Donegal
Grange 1927, he was a deputy for the Pennsylvania Forest Service. He is survived
by his widow, Clara Terhorst Kantorik; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Evelyn) Mowry
of Greensburg R.D. 7; one son, Wayne of Grapevine; four grandchildren; one
sister, Mrs. Leona Zahrobsky of Mt. Pleasant, and three brothers, Andrew of Mt.
Pleasant, Edward of East Canton, Ohio, and Augusta Rodgers of Mt. Pleasant.
Friends will be received in Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, from 2 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.
Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. E. Stewart Proper officiating.
Interment will follow in Donegal Cemetery. Donegal Grange will hold a memorial
service in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
