Latrobe Bulletin Mon, Jun 14, 1915 
After a lingering illness, Mrs. Rebecca S. Karns, widow of the late Jacob J.
Karns, and a well known resident of Unity township, died at 9:30 o'clock,
Saturday evening. Dropsy was the direct cause of her death. Mrs. Karns was 68
years of age, and is survived by two daughters, the Misses Cecelia E. Karns and
Alice M Karns, both at home, one son, George H. Karns, of this place; three
sisters: Mrs. John Schall, of this place, Mrs, J. M. Truxal, of Manor, and Miss
Catherine Stockberger, of Pleasant Unity; and by three brothers, David
Stockberger and Edward Stockberger, of Pleasant Unity; and Mathias Stockberger,
of Greensburg. The funeral services will be held at the Karns residence, Tuesday
morning. at ten o'clock, the Rev. W. E. Bauer being in charge. The interment
will be made at Youngstown.
