Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Aug 16, 1922
Miss Cecelia Elisabeth Karns, of Youngstown, aged 46 years, 11 months and 10
days, died this morning in the Latrobe Hospital following an operation for gall
stones. Miss Karns was admitted to the hospital last evening in a serious
condition. She was very well known in Latrobe where she clerked in Reed's store
for a member of years. Surviving are one brother, George H. Karns, and one
sister, Alice M. Karns. The funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at
2:30 at the Karns residence, in Youngstown. Rev. W. E. Bauer will be in charge
and interment will be made in the Youngstown cemetery.
